Import Segment Values and Hierarchy-FBDI -Oracle ERP Cloud

In This post i will show how to Import Segment values and hierarchy in Oracle general ledger module.

Step 1: Download the FBDI from below OER

https://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/docs/fbdi-20a/fbdi/xlsm/ChartofAccountsSegmentValuesandHierarchiesImportTemplate.xlsm

Step 2: Fill the date as shown below.




After you clicked on generate CSV button, you will see a csv file zipped generated in the desired location

Step 3: Log in to the applications and launch the "Load Interface File for Import process." and provide the parameters as shown below.


After you submit this Job , The Below series of programs gets kicked off.


The program goes into the error if there is an issue with single transaction. Check the Output file for more details.

The successful records can be validated by navigating to Setup and maintenance > Manage Segment Values Security Rules

Enter the value set code and then click on manage values and finally check for the value you imported.
